Does the PC restart itself or does it stay shut down?

Your CX PSU might be your issue.

as with thermals, i've heard that those CX series psu's don't have good temperature tolerances. is the psu fan getting clean air?

The previous system shutdown at 19:04:02 on ‎08/‎10/‎2015 was unexpected. thats the error i get. Sorry for the inacurancy. I dont think its my PSU its a 500w and is pretty new. Its just shuts down like power has just cut. It powers up strait away.

The CPU is sitting at 80c idle

BIG problem

 

Reseat the cpu cooler.

Like now. 

Immideatly.

That idle temp is NOT ok

Now at 90-95C

Please, turn off your pc, and reinstall the cpu cooler.

Those temps are making my brain hurt.

But on a serious note, try to reinstall the cooler anyway, and get som thermal compound tomorrow and reseat your cooler with that tomorrow.
