i have a "problem" with my graphics driver crashing, its not a problem at all actually i just get a message that it crashed and was reset, nothing hapanes but it gets annoying after a while, im currently on windows 10 and i have a Gigabyte G1 GTX970 with the latest drivers for it(i think, they were the latest when i downloaded them and since then i have done one update that i can remember) so if anyone knows why its crashing please tell me, as i said not really a problem but more of an annoyance :P

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

Happens to my card as well with Win10, can only guess its a Win10 issue and will be fixed in a driver update?

Check your temps, constant driver crashes may indicate hardware failure.

I had a GTX970 and upgraded to windows 10. I was getting TERRIBLE FPS, crashes and other annoying issues. I reformatted windows and it fixed all the issues.

If you decide to reformat. You will have to install your previous windows version (7 or 8,1) and then immeditaley upgrade it using the installer (can be found here), and do a clean install. Then do the updates and reconfigure your PC to your liking. WORKED GREAT FOR ME!

Intel Core i7-6700k | 2 X Gigabyte 4GB GTX 970 Overclocked Edition | 16GB (4X4GB) DDR4 2133MHz Corsair Dominator Platinum | MasterCase Pro 5

ASUS Z170 Deluxe Motherboard | 256GB Samsung 840 Pro + Seagate 2TB Storage | Corsair Hydro H80i GT | Windows 10 Pro 64bit | Corsair HX850i

Have you tried running a graphics driver remover program? I have seen many mentioned in the forum before.

It is Windows 10's fault. My Nvidia driver also crashes but not 2 often. And no it is not over heating or being over-stressed.

Maybe but if it is Microsoft's problem then the bug might be fixed in one of the windows updates.

Run windows update and see if it fixes the problem. PS reinstall malwarebytes for additional security along with your anti-virus for protection.

An anti-virus is only half of the solution. Malwarebytes anti-malware found some malware when my antivirus didn't find anything.
