Do I need a fan in my PC for my MB

Wouldn't be a bad idea to have active cooling passing over your motherboard.

I would say no because your pc wont be outputing that much heat into the case due to the water loop but ive been wrong before

I would suggest adding a fan. My vrms ran really hot, but with a small quiet fan, they dropped at least 20 degrees.

Considering your board is made by MSi, there are 2 logical trains of thought, yes and no.

1.  No, you do not need a fan.  Pray that your board does get too hot and dies.  Then you have a perfect excuse to get an ASUS or Gigabyte board.

2.  Yes, put a fan in there as you know your board is made by MSi and not "up to snuff" like ASUS or Gigabyte.

connect the fan fo the 5v rail on the psu. Thats what I did with my rear blower fan.

I could.

And I will.

Easy work with some speaker wire and electrical tape

MSI is fine motherboard maker.

That said, my motherboard is terrible with hot vrms.

You dont have any fans hooked up to your radiators? Cuz those provide sufficient airflow...

When in doubt, re-format.
