Hi all,

I have a quick question that I can't seem to find a proper answer for.

I put a Kraken G10 with an Corsair H75 on my MSI 390X and read about VRM temps.

VRM Temp 1 in my case gets extremely hot in stresstesting; 110 degrees!

The only thing is, where is this VRM 1??

My guess is shown in the picture below, can someone confirm before I order heatsinks that are not needed?

yes those are mosfets / mosfet drivers

for safe use please put heatsink on them; you certainly don't want to burn out your mosfets

you need a heatsink on ALL the vrms...

you need to buy heatsinks with the G10 because it doesnt provide proper cooling to power delivery and vram

you're going to damage your card if you keep running it without heatsinks

it should look like this

Thanks for the tip guys! MSI has a Heatsink block for the front that keeps the VRM2 onder 50 all the times. For the back I ordered the Gelidsolutions 290X version, figured that will work on the 390X aswell.

edit; here is the standard heatsink thats on it with the MSI version.
