Help. was installing windows then this happend

I was installing windows on my brand new pc i was using a cd-rom to install windows. i was installing windows on a kingston 120 ssd. I got windows to get to the install page and it was a 69% and i left the computer alone for about 5-10 mins to go clean up the mess. I came back to the computer to find a black screen on my monitier so i turned it off and on and still black. So what i did is i shut of the pc and tried turning it back on and all i get it on the moniter searching for signals. i mash the delete key to get the boot menu but nothing happens. What have i done please help!! Note: the pc turns on just fine everything inside works.

Something may or may not be defective, but I would rest assured that you've done nothing wrong.

Unplug the SSD to see if you get a signal to your monitor.

I just did that and nothing happens. Also when i push the enter key on my keyboard the cd-rom starts up

try the onboard gpu

nd take out the dedicated gpu

try with only 1 ram stick in various slots to

also..unplug the psu...and reseat it

I took out the gpu and it is starting the windows download again. When would i put the gpu back in

if it doesn't work..then your gpu is bad...probably

is the power cables plugged into the gpu?

try another pci slot... it could be your pci slot but most likely its a bad gpu

I have then 8 pin and 6 pin plugged in but the 8 pin has some wierd adapter

try another pci slot... it could be your pci slot but most likely its a bad gpu

Since i bought it on newegg would i send it back or start some sort of claim
