Posted October 6, 2015 So if you can see from Kington's link: http://www.hyperxgaming.com/us/cloud/h3cl There are 3 types of Clouds: Core, v1, and v2. So far from what I observed is: Core: Detachable Mic, and no color choices v1: "The Original" v2: More colors, 7.1 USB Card. But build quality, are foam and etc. are all the same. Amiright? In my area the pricing are: in PHP Core - 2400 (≈53.33$) v1 - 3000 (≈66.66$) v2 - 3500 (≈77.77$)Which one to buy? and why? I don't like the Core's color. So it would take alot of convincing to get me to choose it. ahahaBTW if I decide to get the core or the v1, I'm under the impression that I should get a "good 7.1 soundcard". Is there anything "better" than the v2's included soundcard? at maybe a 20$ pricepoint? PCI, PCIE, and USB soundcards are welcome. But I prefer PCI/PCIE. Posted October 6, 2015 i believe the cloud 1's are going out of production, and to fill the "lower end" gap they made the cloud core, which is the cloud II with less accessories. i have a cloud 1, and one of the first things i did was put the velure pads on, because i just like those more off the top of my head the cloud core doesnt come with those. (a thing to consider)

(a thing to consider) I can see why Kingston is doing this. The Cloud 1's are very similar to Cloud 2's. No point in Cloud 2's unless they remove all the accesories and dim down the Cloud 1's i7-6700k Cooling: Deepcool Captain 240EX White GPU: GTX 1080Ti EVGA FTW3 Mobo: AsRock Z170 Extreme4 Case: Phanteks P400s TG Special Black/White PSU: EVGA 850w GQ Ram: 64GB (3200Mhz 16x4 Corsair Vengeance RGB) Storage 1x 1TB Seagate Barracuda 240GBSandisk SSDPlus, 480GB OCZ Trion 150, 1TB Crucial NVMe (Rest of Specs on Profile)
 To my extent. The 2's have a worse mic and have crappy surround sound 7.1 ( all headset 7.1 is junk ) i7-6700k Cooling: Deepcool Captain 240EX White GPU: GTX 1080Ti EVGA FTW3 Mobo: AsRock Z170 Extreme4 Case: Phanteks P400s TG Special Black/White PSU: EVGA 850w GQ Ram: 64GB (3200Mhz 16x4 Corsair Vengeance RGB) Storage 1x 1TB Seagate Barracuda 240GBSandisk SSDPlus, 480GB OCZ Trion 150, 1TB Crucial NVMe (Rest of Specs on Profile)
 Posted October 6, 2015 Would just get cloud I because the 7.1 is only a software thing which you can do using razer surround. The rest of the specs are the same just a little different spray paint. Magical Pineapples
