EDIT: Too many words! Here's the gist of it: I want to cut down on how much money I'm spending (mainly on peripherals) in order to have more money to spend elsewhere in the build.

Alright, so I was looking at all of my parts. I was looking for ways to upgrade my system, and I'm beginning to realize how much of an idiot I am. Looking at my parts, my PC costs about $1,750 USD. When I subtracted all of the "extra" things, such as the wireless card, the OS, and the peripherals, I realized that my PC build was only about $1,200. I found that pretty pathetic considering that my budget is $1,800 USD.

So, I'm asking anyone who's good at this, to please find any ways to cut down on money that I'm not spending, mainly on the peripherals. I've been looking everywhere and I've had a very tough time finding decent peripherals that seem decent.

My Build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/CWXHyc

Thanks in advance for the help! :)

P.S. I do want a decent headset, but I do NOT need a mic built in, since I already have a Blue Snowball I've previously bought. I will be using the Blue Snowball as my main mic, so please don't waste extra budget on a built-in mic. If no good solutions come up for hearing, I'll just use my Skullcandy earbuds.

Get a better monitor like more resolution or more Hz if you want to justify the price of that. Otherwise it looks good. Peripherals are a very important thing with computer builds so it seems justified to me.

G3258 @ 4.5 | 8GB Team Vulcan RAM | 128GB Kingston V300 SSD (I didn't know what I was doing when I bought it) | MSI H81I Motherboard | Corsair H55 with Noctua NF-P12 | EVGA SSC GTX 960 4GB | OCZ 550W Fully Modular PSU with Noctua NF-A14 | Cooler Master Elite 130 (Soon to be something cool)

I'd maybe start here, it includes a 4k IPS free-sync display. The build is meant to overclock and hold a second GPU down the road for better 4k gaming
