"Finishing" Boinc

Here is one for you - in Folding, we can right-click a slot, choose finish and folding will not download any new work units once the current once is complete and uploaded. Good for when you need to shut down systems for prolonged period, or uninstalling, etc.

 

Does Boinc have any such capabilities. Currently have one system on the Seti project. How to tell it, once down current work, don't get anymore, as the hard drive needs to be formatted.

I haven't noticed any such capabilities. The BOINC application needs to be expanded. It's very limiting compared to Folding@home.

 

EDIT: Actually, yes it does. Go to the projects tab. Select your project, and click "No New Tasks."
