Halp! G3 using 2.2 GB ram!

Go to solution Solved by ZetZet,

It doesn't matter how much RAM it uses.  It will use nearly everything all the time so it runs fast.

^this.

don't worry about the RAM consumption unless you start to experience laggyness and other things like that.

its gonna drain battery too. Just checked its running services, music is taking 111MB and other programs are taking lot of memory even when I am not using them.

ok then is there any safe way to close the apps I am not using? There is a "stop" button but when I tap on it it says that it might affect other apps and might misbehave .

There is no point in doing that. And it definitely might ruin other programs.

ok I d understand how it works. But now the real question is that hoe do I stop lg health from calculating my steps. It's taking more than 200MB of ram. I want that 200MB to be used by other apps not that stupid lg health. I shouldn't have set up it.

Delete app cache and turn it off.

if apps you don't use are using a large amount of ram (or memory in general) then you might as well uninstall them, unless you are experiencing problems besides being too worried about things don't panic, either way we are happy to help.

Just noticed that something is using 7 GB of space and leaving me behind with only 25 GB of space.

No it isn't. 32GB of storage doesn't mean 32GB and OS uses some too. 25gb of space is actually pretty damn good.
