Best power Supply for Define R5 ?

Hey guys,  Is there any 850/850+ watt PSU available that can fit in the Define R5 ?
If not then, is there any Zero Fanless Mode ( for those who might not get it, It's the mode the fan doesn't spin till reaching a certain power draw) in the available ones that DO fit in the R5.
Also Modular or at least Semi-Modular would be nice.   TIA.

Got the Seasonic M12II EVO '850w' myself personally and it fits perfectly. Worst comes you shove you can use a 120mm bottom intake instead of 140's.

CPU: i7 8700k   Motherboard: Asus Maximus Hero  RAM: 16GB @ 3600Mhz  GPU: MSI 980Ti 6G  Case: Fractal Design R5 (4 Intakes/3Exhausts)  Storage: Crucial BX100 SSD, Samsung 850 & Seagate 2TB HDD  PSU: Seasonic M12II Evo '850W'  CPU Cooling: Corsair H110i GT

Agree, but that length restriction though, And won't it would be a problem for a longer PSU fanside down since the fan vent probably won't line up properly, not to mention the screw holes ?

it will fit any psu, I have the define S which is basically the define R5 with some modification. and it fits my long ass psu, the evga g2 supernova

Most cases nowadays have standards, one of them is that most fit ATX PSU's so any would be fine :P the only problem sometimes would be length.

Post above.

True And i Agree, And since the length is the problem I meant something that would meet the length and fit the stated requirements  :P

Any PSU will be fiiiine basically.

Screw holes are doubled so you can put it fan side up OR down. Also, the bottom 'fan' vents span the entire bottom of the case iirc and should be fine

No the PSU vent isn't, only the fan vents are

Saw it in here.

Actually IIRC, the bottom of the R5 and S is different. The S has a single fan slot and much bigger PSU slot, Again IIRC.

It shouldn't be too much of a big deal tbh, the little bumps on the bottom are to hold the PSU up so it can get air no matter what.

its the same thing,

here define r5

define S

http://www.techpowerup.com/img/15-04-21/56c.jpg

they are the same, just open space down at the bottom.

Also it says the psu clearance on the website is 190mm with the fan and 300mm without the fan

http://www.fractal-design.com/home/product/cases/define-series/define-r5-black

and the evga g2 is only 180mm in length

http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=220-G2-0750-XR

so just dont install any fan if u wanna be careful, also ur a quiet freak so i guess no fan is better right.

i just dont understand why this guy is making a big deal over a case a psu, its pretty simple. Normal mid tower case will fit any ATX PSU. it small cases like silverstone rv01 and fractal design node 202 is what u have to worry about

EVGAs GS and G2 series have an option for that.
