[Advice]Bose Companion 2 Series III Multimedia Speakers

Newyuni

Hello guys

I would like to know if can set this up on my Laptop " Dell Latitude (E6430)"

If it is possible to set this up somehow then...how do I do that.

I have this Laptop that I use every day. I am a student in Germany and a friend of mine told me that this Sound System is the best he ever heard (in this price range)

The idea is to use the Laptop since I do not have a Desktop on campus yet.In that Desktop PC I have the Asus Xonar Essence STX Soundcard PCIe 2.0

If this is a bad idea or a waste of money please feel free you let me know.

Good day to you all

Are they? I have never heard Bose be mentioned for price to performance...

I am asking if I can use the speakers on a laptop somehow

It looks like it would be pretty simple, and they would just plug in via a 3.5mm  AUX cable.

Could you recommend something else if you know anything about audio /speakers in that price range.

Unfortunately powered speakers are not my forte, but I am a big fan of Micca for what they offer for the price, and they do have powered speakers. I am not sure how easily you would be able to get those in Germany though...
