Yes. Getting eye raped every time you go from a dark cave to outside is not pleasant. I turn it off in every game.

Exactly!, and while it might be annoying in a competitive game, in a SP game the extra lighting effects really help immersion

I kind of appreciate any over the top effects even if they can get in the way on occasion. Just my preference I guess.

I think it makes the interactive experience more like a movie than real life, so it takes away from the idea of actually being in the game. That said, I think it does look nice.

I use a Lenovo T440: i5 4300U, 8GB RAM, 128GB Samsung 840 Evo, 14" 900p display and an external 23" 1080p passive 3D monitor. Extended 6-cell battery with internal 3-cell. Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (I only use open-source software -- haven't paid for a single program yet).

I'll take it when the game suits it. Witcher without bloom doesn't feel right. The sims with bloom is just stupid. Minesweeper with bloom is a must

Bloom sucks, HDR when done correctly makes the game look pretty good.

The stars died for you to be here today.

A locked bathroom in the right place can make all the difference in the world.
