Not sure if this goes in planning or liquid cooling but I'm planning to liquid cool so IT'S GOING HERE!

So I need a custom liquid cooling loop. Specs are in my signature. I don't want GPU cooling YET. Meaning I might upgrade to it later. My budget is $500. I want it to be red themed since I have a red build. 240mm Radiator. I don't know ANYTHING about liquid cooling so if you could just help me out with it too that would be great. Thanks.

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600 Motherboard: MSI B550 Tomahawk RAM: 32Gb DDR4  GPU(s): MSI 6800-XT Case: NZXT H440 Storage: 4x 250gb SSD + 2TB HDD PSU: Corsair RM850x with CableMod Displays: 1 x Asus ROG Swift And 3 x 24" 1080p Cooling: H100i Keyboard: Corsair K70 RGB Mouse: Corsair M65 RGB Sound: AKG 553 Operating System: Windows 10

If your plans are to do a CPU loop and expand with GPU's a short way down the road looking into something like the EKWB Predator expandable AIO would be a good choice, they have both a 240mm and 360mm size.

I agree here. An expandable AIO cooler. The bigger one is a preorder though.

Is that like a closed loop? Because I already have an H100i and I just want to get something that looks better, and mine is making weird noises, so I want new liquid cooling, and more of a custom loop, and something that matches my build, so like red tubing/liquid.

The EKWB Predator expandable AIO is just like any AIO, with the extra bonus that you can pull the tubes off of the block and add more things to the loop, such as another radiator, a GPU block, ect

Its essentially a watercooling "starter kit" that you can add to. The pump and reservoir are built into the radiator, so make sure you have the space for them.

Yeah if it is that big I wouldn't have room, I can't put it in the front of my case since I have 5 drives and the top doesn't have enough room.

In that case I would just go for a standard custom loop setup, like mine in my build log. The forum is your best bet on advice for what rads and pumps to use. I got mine for free, so I didnt bother researching any alternatives. Just do not buy anything with aluminum in it.

Well that's kind of what I was looking for, some advice on what to get.

All metals need to "match" or be the same correct? Any other tips to buying as well?

pretty much. If aluminum and copper are in the loop, they corrode very quickly. But copper and nickel really don't care about each other. I have used primochill advanced lrt and it worked great for me. I have cheaper nickel plated barb style connectors and nylon clamps for fittings. Doesn't look as nice as compression fittings, but it is much cheaper. As for buying tips: make sure you have the correct shipping address...

Alright, and I just checked my recent spendings and actually not sure if I can go full loop, but I do need a new loop. Could this work pretty well? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA66Z29F0630  Never heard of the brand.

I didn't see that, I looked for what metal, but for some reason it didn't show up for me... Hmm. I'll keep looking around and get back with you for some question. I'm needy I know.
