My former wireless mouse also had a light, it turned red when low, but personally I find wireless mice more of a pain than having a wire

I like wireless mice for my workshop. Alot easier to move a wireless mouse out of the way then a wired one.

I don't know about yours, but some will come with software that will give you a battery indicator. Or more likely its just a LED that will change color when the battery is low.

Is it bad that my dream setup only costs a few thousand not counting the obutto?

how so? for me, it was just plug in the wireless receiver and it instantly started working. plus, wires are a bitch, especially since i have to deal with like 15+ plugged into my PC.

Mine was an older one so it's battery life span was fairly low, plus they seem less responsive than I like (this isn't just my mouse I'm referencing) but to each their own, it has its advantages too, but wired is better for me. The more of a pain part wasn't referring to installation or anything just the above issues I had.
