Well open headphones are open because they leak sound out and allow for a nice soundstage. If you're using them at home then they're the way to go but if in public definitely go closed.

budget is 200$ usd

The M50X is one of the best pair of cans under $200.  The Sennheiser HD 598 and Beyerodynamic DT-880 Pro are good too.

The Beyrodinamic will be more suitable because they are only semi-open.  The Sennheiser's are full open cans.

There isn't much that I know of in closed-back cans not from Beyerdynamic and Audio Technica. Have you checked out the closed-back AD500X?

Not really. The M50X have no soundstage and the AD500X have lots, even closed.

AKG K553 should be a clear upgrade, even though you can probably find them cheaper on sale somewhere.
