Good cellphone provider?

I have Verizon right now and looking to switch because it is just too expensive. Sure they may have really good coverage and speed, but it costs too much. Especially for the little amount of data you get. What do you guys have and would you recommend them? I am looking into Sprint because my brother likes it and it has unlimited data. They will also buy out your contract and they have a neat iPhone upgrade plan.

Sprints network is very slow and I live in nyc T-Mobile is like 75mbs consistently

You can always go prepaid instead of contract, like net10 they have bring your own phone and use verizon's cell towers

This really depends on where you are geographically for the coverage, speeds, etc

Tried switching to Sprint one time (more like opening a line for myself, not switching).

 

They ended up charging me some weird "fee" that wasn't listed anywhere. No, it was't a setup fee, an activation fee or anything like that. I even talked to one of their reps and she couldn't figure out what it was, so I canceled my order and got a refund.

 

Maybe you'll have better luck.

I've been using ting for over a year now, they're pretty good, works with a large variety of phones, and the prices aren't too bad as long as you're not going insane on shit.

T-Mobile. They have decent coverage, pretty good speeds, great policies(compared to the other three), and unlimited data. They also add in a bunch of stuff like music freedom, roaming(domestic and international), and roll over data all for free(well, no additional cost).
