Go to solution
Solved by MG2R,
will that make a exact copy of the hdd cause i need windows to see the 1tb as if it was the 500gb with the same volume letter (local disk d) and all
cause i have folders like desktop and music libraries that normally are in C:\Users\ in the 500gb hdd if not, looking up in google find acronis true image and that it does bootable usbs just what i need will that do it so windows sees the 1tb the same as the 500gb
Do you mean you have the folders that are usually under C:\Users on that 500GB, which is normally mounted to drive letter D?
In that case, it doesn't need to be seen as a 500GB HDD, just format it as a 1TB drive, copy all the folders to it from the 500GB drive, plug it in and tell Windows to use drive letter D for the 1TB drive.
