i5 6600k not idling?

Hi guys,

I recently build my new gaming rig ( http://pcpartpicker.com/p/t4WHmG but with the 630w psu) and decided to overclock it.

However, being by first time ever, I'm not really familiar with it. I set my cpu ratio to 46 and it seems to work fine (84 degree celsius during a 20 minutes blend test in prime 95)

even if it needs more testing.

My problem is that cpu-z display a voltage of 1.32V (I didn't change the stock value, it seems to be on auto) even when the cpu iat idle workload.

Isn't it dangerous to run all the time at that voltage? How can I make the cpu ratio go down when idling?

Set the voltage to adaptive instead of override/static in the BIOS.

Ok, I just did it, but will it also decrease the core ratio when idle?
