Whats the best way to handle the driver situation then?

Reinstall sound/GPU drivers

Esp make sure you've got the latest ones...

It didnt work guys.....

try going to the sound settings and make shure only one device is selected. not sure why but this sound familiar to me and something I delt with on my machine.I don't remember what exactly i did but it had to do with recording devices in the sound menu. It made no sense because i wasn't using a mic but it fixed it.

I will do the best I can to help in any way. However I am not all knowing and realize that I can be wrong.
