GTX 970 SLI Models

I am wondering if you can SLI a 970 ftw and ssc?

I saw some where that people couldn't sli these two models and just wanted to confirm.
I already own the ssc model and ordered another ftw model.

The GTX 970 SSC is a 04G-P4-3975-KR

and the FTW is a 04G-P4-2978-KR
