Title says it all. What are the differences with the exception of more performance and a new architecture?

umm.. that's all the difference there is - a new architecture

Haswell's main draw was the better iGPU - namely - Iris Pro graphics on the i7 chips. It also produces more heat :D

Slightly more performance from better IPC due to a new architecture. That's it.
