This PC will be for gaming, as well as doing video rendering, 3d modelling, photo editing and simulations.

The budget is $3800 CAD.

I already have an ssd and windows 7, as well as a mouse, keyboard and headset so those are not included in the price.

 

What do you guys think?

What programs are you using? How heavy is your usage?

For photo/video stuff I used photoshop, premiere, and sony vegas. I am a programmer so I write the code for simulations my self.
I also use 3d max and unity also.

In terms of games, I would like to max everything out at 1440p.

Throw in some good headphones and a reputable DAC/amp.

Already have good headphones, and speakers.

I'd wait until the 4930k and 9970 to hit the shelves and plan your build then. Prices change frequently.

You'd also want to see a few days worth of benchmarks for them as well.
