I have seen some people that just paste links and the product they will be using and sometimes this can get a little confusing, so I taught I would put together a tutorial on how to show off your future rig Properly

 

1. Navigate to PcPartPicker.com:

2. Create an account by pressing the "Register" button in the top right corner, you will see a page like this:

3. Goto your email and open the e-mail that you got from the website, click on the link and sign in.

4. Click on "System Build"

5. Go through and pick all your parts by selecting them from the list as you click on the "Choose ..." Buttons.

6. Click the "Save as" Button on the top right corner of your part list.

7. Name your list and click Save

8. On your part list click "View"

9. Click on "BBcode Markup" Abouve the save as button.

10. Now copy, And paste!

very nice, but I still think just posting a link to PCpartpicker is perfectly acceptable, as long as they don't keep asking WHAT to get for their ENTIRE build :D

I agree with @megadarkwood, it's so much easier to have everything listed than not.

Besides, if (including myself) someone wants an opinion/advice on their build, shouldn't they provide every possible (easy to use) info

That's what the bbcode is for. The thing is you don't need an account to use it but the OP says to go make an account for it.

it makes it easier to make changes on a later date because they are saved to your account 

and you can have multiple lists
