Hey guys i am kinda new to oc.i have the msi gtx 970 gaming 4gb (3.5) and i wanna check if my oc is good or low.the cards stock clock is 1114 with +- 1253 boost.without touching the volts i acheaved a 1300 base clock and the msi afterburner (v 4.1.1) monitoring system showed me that the card was boosting at 1514mhz.i wanna know if it is good enough or it is a casual low overclock.thanks in advance

It's an ok overclock, though its probably pretty good for that card, some 970s can get close to 1600Mhz but its luck of the draw, for instance mine had a boost clock stock that was around 1450 which is why it can oc high, though mine wasn't an msi and draws more juice normally (Gigabyte G1 gaming)

I also have the MSI 970 and if you can get up to 1500MHz, then I'd call that a good OC.

I wouldn't touch the voltage unless you need to, such as running into a game/application that you're actually struggling to get performance for.

CPU - Intel Core i5 10600K @ 5GHz @ 1.35v + EK Custom Loop (Evo Supremacy Block, 240mm Copper Radiator, Res/Pump Combo, Mayhem Soft Tubing and Fluid) - GPU - Gigabyte G1 GeForce GTX 1070 - RAM - 16GB Corsair Vengeance RGB @ 3200MHz - Mobo - Asus Z490-A Prime - SSD - Samsung 850 120GB - HDD - 2TB WD Black - PSU - EVGA G2 650W Gold - Case - Corsair 680X RGB White with 6 x Corsair LL120 Fans.
