Rainbow Six: Siege Performance Tested

Benchmarks were all done with the in game benchmark tool. I'd also like to add that it is not at all CPU bound, my CPU usage sat around 50%.

 

PC:

CPU: i7-4790k @ 4.6ghz

Mother Board: MSI Z97S SLI KRAIT EDITION

RAM: 16gb @ 1866ghz

GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 970 SSC ACX 2.0 @ 1529ghz

Settings:

Everything max for 4gb cards, there are "Ultra" textures but a 6gb card is required for it. Looking at VRAM usage I dont see a reason as there is plenty left when on 1080p.

From when it was working (I had some connection issues) it was pretty fun I couldn't complain.

A 4GB video card can probably handle Ultra at 1080p, but its the 1440p-4k category that won't, so perhaps that is why its limited. But screw Ubisoft for putting a vram cap in a game...
