Regarding Wireless Headsets

I recently watched an NCIX video where Jack reviews three corsair gaming products, one of which is the wireless Corsair Void Gaming Headset. When he refers to the quality of the sound reproduction with the headset, he notes that "for a wireless headset it's not bad", I've seen reviews on the major wireless gaming headsets, and each reviewer says something similar. Is there any actual 'wireless gaming headset' that sounds like ass, that reviewers recognize?

These are the major wireless gaming headsets that I can think of off the top of my head to get it started.

Pretty much every wireless headset sounds worse than a wired one and gaming headsets already sound like shit so two shits added together gives you a big stinky one.

 

 

 

Logitech G933 should be the best thing out there at the moment, I haven't experienced it and read any reviews, but I did see the LTT video.

I got my wireless headset for the ability to take a pee while still chatting with my mates. (jokes) but it's nice to not have a cable, (I can't really use my speakers)

I don't know, g930 sounds amazing to me. However I always tend to drain the battery out and forget to cherge it. And while working in the usb corded mode, it restarts every few minutes, so it's shit like that.

Wireless will also sound worse than wired, there's always interference. But for headsets that aren't el cheapo crap they're actually not that bad.

I haven't had the chance to use a lot of them, but my general rule of thumb is to stay away from Astro, TB, and Razer. Pretty much if they gaming super duper gaming branded headsets for consoles, they're clueless. I've used the Corsair 2100s and those were pretty darn good imho.

I owned the g930, heavy bastard's but audio were actually good but battery was Meh, 8 hours. Mic was good, no complaints from friends.

I have the creative omega recon 3D.

Pure shit in comfort.

Mic was garbage but sound was OK.

They are gathering dust right now....

After that I gave up on wireless for pc, but I do miss the flexibility.

Astro and turtle beach... Eh overpriced bling imo.

No comments on the rest.

@Luclocke sennheiser have some nice wireless, not sure if they have mic though...

I have the Sony MDR-XB950BT and it is amazing. just google it. It's $200, but on amazon they were sellign refurbished for ~$80, and i think they still might be. Anyway, for either price, theyre really good. (imo)

Those are Bluetooth... What if he doesn't have Bluetooth? On top of that I think "gaming" headsets have a better mic.
