That plugs into your PSU!

Yes, to the SATA power connector.

Plug that into the PSU and then the fans connect to the sockets which are connected.

This allows you to control the fans at the front of the case with the 3 way speed.

Helpful if your MB doesnt have more than 2/3 case fans.

It's a SATA power connector.

Connect a SATA power cable female to that.

Make sure you've put your 8-pin CPU power into the MB/PSU. Same for the 20 etc.
