Yes, I'm aware they were the white full size slots though right? I remember most pre-build systems had AGP graphics slots. In fact my first graphics card was an ATI 2800 or something absurd that ran AGP. Takes me back to the days when I was a kid with dial-up internet. :)

PCI and PCIE

No such thing as 1x PCI

AGP is Different from PCI and PCIE

AGP was a propriety GPU slot. Only GPU's were used on AGP.

AGP goes from 1x speeds all the way up to 8x

 

 

and PCI was the de facto standard for expansion slots till AGP was introduced and then the PCI-E was released

 

 

forget which series the GPU market made and AGP and PCI-E version of the same card

the HDD sheirff is similar to bitlocker which locks down the HDD from unwanted access and modifying

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

Umm I think it was the 4xxx some of then they had the Radeon 4650 PCI-E and AGP

TPM was like in the 2000's till now I think.

correction TPM only arrive in 2006 officially for business laptops
