Windows 10 Start Menu not working

Installed Windows 10 and after a couple of weeks the Start menu and Search windows stopped working. When I click on them nothing happens. Anyone knows how to fix this?

This happened to me too. It was for a short time, but after I upgraded my MOBO and CPU it went away.

yeah, use some software to replace the annoying start menu with something more accommodating

Start10, classic shell etc....

Yeah i had that problem too, i just reinstalled Windows 10 lol

Reinstalling windows 10 is pretty painless actually, you get to keep your files and junk so it should be fine and quick for you.

Try this first
Open a command prompt as admin

Type in the following command " sfc /scannow "
Let it do it's thing, possibly reboot afterward.

 

See if the start menu works again or not. This generally fixes any issues related to start menu/search, among others.

Already done that and nothing changed.
