  1. 2 week old PC was running fine until one day it shut off and restarted showing a BSOD - SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED. The windows recovery screen did not come up at all even after shutting off and restarting 3 times. The OS was installed on an NVME drive with a secondary HDD as extra storage. Specifications: OS - Windows 10 - Retail x64 Age of system - 2 weeks Age of OS installation - 2 weeks CPU model: AMD 5600G Video Card model: MSI GTX1660 MotherBoard - MSI B550 MORTAR Power Supply - Seasonic GC850 I have done the following steps to no avail: 1. Checked boot storage devices. All of them are being detected and even the windows boot manager partitions. 2. Used Windows Media Creation tool to create a bootable drive to reinstall windows but the MSI bios screen would come up showing the Windlows loading icon for a few seconds and then restarts. Moving forward from this point the BSOD screen never had enough time to come up as it would get to the MSI splash screen with the windows loading icon and then restart after 3 - 5 seconds. 2. Reseated RAM and changed combinations. 3. Cleared CMOS and also default settings of BIOS 4. Removed GPU and used integrated graphics. 5. Flashed BIOS to an older version. 6. Installed windows on the secondary Hard Drive using a secondary machine and WintoUsb software. After doing this step the Windows Recovery Environment did come up, selected "Reset Windows" but after completion it went back to the original state and never came up again. 7. Removed NVME and tried booting directly off the HDD but still same results - MSI logo with windows loading icon for a few seconds and restarts. 8. Tried switching on and off secure boot as well as switching Windows OS config between CSM and UEFI. Anyone has an idea what I have missed or what can be done?
  2. Looks like it;'s better to just buy a 3900x system and use it as a dedicated streaming/recording/rendering a rig. My goal is to stream and possibly record at 4k (worst case scenario) at the same time without the overlays in order to upload the same stream with high quality footage on youtube.
  3. How well would a 3950x work to game, stream at 1080p 60fps and record at 4k at the same time? Would a 3900x be enough or is it better to go for a 3950x?
  4. Tried thyphoon and dram calculator but no luck there. Dram calculator also doesn't have 2133mhz to choose from... starts from 2666mhz.
  5. I know, i know but this was given free so I wanted to try it out before I buy a decent fast ram kit.
  6. By soc you mean the Uncore OC Voltage (VID) right? and by Dram the Dram voltage?
  7. I'm having problems with a new build consisting of a new 3700x, new ASROCK x570 Steel legend and a 16gb kit HYPERX 2133mhz. The modules are KHZ2133C14D4/8G. While installing a fresh copy of windows a Memory Management bsod kept coming up. After I somehow managed to install Windows I flashed the bios which didn't help and also overclocked the memory to 2400mhz and the infinity fabric to 1600mhz. Thanks to the overclock the pc managed to get to desktop but still kept giving me errors when extracting drivers. I am aware that the memory is not included in neither the motherboard nor the Ryzen Memory combatibility list. Has anyone had this type of problem before? Is this just a simple compability issue?
  8. Does a b450 motherboard have enough pcie lanes to run a 4k60pro mk.2, a graphic card and an NVME drive?
  9. I have a gtx1080 in my main machine. It doesn't matter which encoder i use. The main problem is that the second I add any type of animation via a browser source it spikes to 100%. To give you an idea.. my BRB screen which uses a local video file and a browser source with just social handles (text) uses 90% CPU. I've tried everything from changing hardware acceleration modes, to closing browser sources when not visible (which helped) etc..
  10. I'm using the NVENC encoder on the now very old GTX680 in my streaming PC.
