File sorting program

Can anyone give me a concept of a program that would check a specific folder and would sort files in it by their extension and would move them to a alternative folder. No need to paste a code :D, just a concept

i5-4690k, R9 380 4gb, 8gb-1600MHz ram, corsair vs 550w, astrock h97m anniversary.

go to search bar, add star " * " followed by extension, for example *jpg = it will show all jpg files , just drag or move them to your desired folder.
