It seems to me that my neighbors computer has seem to gotten browser hijacked and is changing all the downloads from the websites and putting adds on page that there defiantly shouldnt be adds on like nvidia.com Would there be a smart way to get rid of that? and apps that would possibly fix the virus problem besides a clean install? Thanks beforehand!!

(sorry if its in wrong thread thought this page was the best suited)

Install Malwarebytes and see if anything shows up.

There is a program called Hijackthis, but I only recommend it if you know what you are doing.
