Asus P5KPL-AM EPU
4086 MB (DDR2-800 DDR2 SDRAM)

450w psu

Can anyone help me choose a video card? I am thinking in a "msi gtx 750ti oc twinfrozn " for 150 euros but is it worthy?

I dont want to switch my pc components just graphic card but i want the best outcome for price and quality, play some games with solid fps no need for max out settings.

950 or 270X - 750 Ti ain't worth it when the 370 outperforms it by about 10%

PSU?

The PSU won't really matter in a system that draws less than 150 watts.

Can you scrape enough together for a 780 ti?, the reason I ask is that there are bargains to be had on eBay at present.

yes it does.

the psu could be crappy and explode at 449 Watts.

But this system will draw 1 third of the available power, considering these components are adequately cooled he'll have no problems with the current power supply.

Would you trust your system with a Diablotek 650W PSU?

You still draw 1/3 of the "rated" power :)

Idk i could watch some prices, im kind of noob and i am afraid that my system will bottleneck a very powerfull graphic card. So what im trying using less money as possible the best outcome possible . What do you think about my setup?

The 950 is the best budget card, it doesn't draw much power, is quiet, cool, and incredibly powerful. I highly recommend it.

Considering my system draws 197 watts at load I see no reason not to. My computer is adequately cooled and doesn't draw much power. So long as you have those two components (low power draw and good cooling) most any power supply will do. Especially in a budget system where he doesn't have much money to upgrade his GPU it'd be better not to "waste" his money now, but to buy the best of what he can support and later at a more powerful upgrade get a better PSU.

Well it all depends of what you do with your PC. Fine for light gaming etc but it'll flop with high end games and video editing.

What exactly do you use your PC for?

I wouldn't recommend anything above a GTX x60 series card or a R9 x80 series card for fear of bottle-necking. Those cards can be decently powerful and his processor isn't exactly new.

That's a GTS 250 lol. It's a barely a GPU and overclocking it may cause artifacting. If the PSU wasn't supplying proper power the system wouldn't even be running, it would have shorted and would start making all sorts of odd sounds.

Agreed. I was hoping he might upgrade the PSU.

Well if it's in the budget sure, but if he wants power now the 950 is a great option, and a decent PSU can be picked up down the road.

True,  but I'm not a big fan of the lower end 9xx series being the owner of a 4GB 960 in a test rig. A regrettable mistake.

I think the entire round up of NVidia 900 GPU's are very good, it's just AMD's super competitive pricing that makes them difficult to buy. It's also kinda funny cause like 5 months ago AMD was like "we don't want to be known as the budget option anymore."
