Sorry for hijacking and being lazy enough to not google it; Why are they so bad?

 

I own one and it has been working great so far, but I would love to know what problems might occur later on.

they changed the nand so now its terrible and its speed can decrease to the speed of a HDD

I own one and it has been working great so far, but I would love to know what problems might occur later on.

They've had two NAND swaps. For awhile they were a great entry level SSD. Then they swapped out the synchronous NAND that worked just fine for asynchronous NAND that was slow and terrible. Then, again, they switches, this time back to fast NAND.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

well.. somethingsomething review samples were great, somethingsomething actual stock was MUCH worse quality.
