grab a program like undelete360 or Recuva, and try them, don't do anything else with the drive at all until you try to recover the data. and don't try to recover the data back to the drive recover it to your computer's HDD or SSD and note that it may not work because of how USB drives work but there is always a chance it will.

I tried Recuva but all it said was "invalid drive size"

i've used undelete360 with decent success, i think you can use it as a trial now instead of a free version but it should work

I can't even open it. Like when you hit start > computer > and it shows the drivers, the PC says it is there but Application not found

Hey there DarkBlade2117,

Apologies for the late response, I was off for a few days.
As the guys pointed out, you can use a third-party recovery tool (they listed some of them) and see if any of them is able to recover the data. Your best shot would be to contact a data recovery company but their services can be costly.
Do check it for malware and see if it's properly recognized in BIOS, Device Manager and Disk Management. You can try these things on other computers as well just to make sure the problem is within the the drive and not the computer itself (but make sure there isn't any unwanted malware on it!).

Captain_WD.

If this helped you, like and choose it as best answer - you might help someone else with the same issue. ^_^
