I could use some help

Ok I am kinda knew here at the LTT forums but I could use some help on deciding what monitor to get. I have an AMD GPU an R9 290 to be exact. So here is my dilemma I have narrowed it down to two but I cant decide if the ASUS MG279Q 1440p 144hz IPS panel is better for me or the BENQ XL2730Z 1440p 144hz TN panel. I am a gamer and I would love the higher resolution and refresh rates that they both offer but I also have other hobbies like graphic design and video production that having an IPS panel could come in handy with. However after reading the reviews on newegg I have some doubts with the quality of the ASUS panel and I wanted to get some opinions from you guys. Should i just go with the BENQ TN panel or  should I try my luck with the ASUS IPS?

Definitely get IPS if youre going to be doing video and photo work

Asus makes some of the better monitors out there, you shouldnt be worried

IPS, hands down. I used to not be that bothered by it until I started drawing on my laptop. I cannot use TN panels anymore for production. IPS is just too nice.
