Graphics card installation/driver installation causing Pc to hang

Hey Guys,

 

So i tried installing my new graphics card and it whenever my pc starts up to desktop page it loads for about 10 seconds and then my pc hangs. I've uninstalled all my old graphic card drivers and stuff.

 

I managed to resolve the issue by going into safe mode to download the graphic drivers needed and install it, restarted my pc and it worked. However, when i tried updating the drivers to the latest version, the same issue occured. When i restart my pc for the new drivers to take effect, my pc hangs at the desktop page again. Any one experience this before?

 

I have a 4670k Z87-G45 mobo , seasonic 860w Plat psu. I upgraded from a 7950 to a 980Ti Amp extreme.
