How do You build A Computer Without a case?

How do you turn it on without a screwdriver? Is it safe? Will it break? Will it get dusty? Will it start fires?

Plug everything in correctly and it'll work. DON'T SHORT ANYTHING and yes it'll get pretty dusty.

honestly, i just hook up the power connector on my case.  

i dont put the motherboard in, i just plug in the power connector and hit the power button on my case

You just need something metal to bridge the power pins.

 

Depends where it is, what it's on, cats, kids and so on.

Yes, it will get dusty, but is easier to clean than a case PC. 

 

Not unless a part fries or you put it somewhere stupid.

then short ou the power pins on a motherboard after everything is plugged in. it will get dusty so clean often.

I personally have a bunch of front panel power switch from old cases that I kept, so I could use that to power on a computer outside a case, without needing a screwdriver, you could also buy some on ebay (but yes, a screwdriver would work too)

ah, just wasn't sure if it was a personal preference, like admiring the hardware or what.

I'm sure if you really wanted to you could probably make your own ghetto box using the mobo
