Hmmm Original XBOX game with 8xSSAA... interesting results.

So i now can enjoy older games that i love and still play with far superior IQ.

 

MSAA makes things blurry at 1080p, it's good at getting rid of the jaggies but overall does hit image quality.

 

Here SSAA demolishes all jaggies with it rendered at 8K in a 1080p frame :)

 

You will notice everything upscales with SSAA and nothing is blended or blurred as there is no actual AA method, just really high internal resolution.

 

My 6870 could not dream of doing this.

 

 

I do own Fable on my Original XBOX, and the only difference to the PC version is one effect that is used in fight scenes, other than that even textures are the same.

This game has a PC release which this is, but due to the PC versin not having anything graphically over the XBOX version, it's comparable, it's quite amazing how good it looks in 2015.
