Windows 7.1 Audio

Hello is there a way to make all programs use 7.1 Audio?

Err... why? It's not like everything on your computer is going to benefit from surround sound (or at least, I'd imagine not)

well the way that I have it set up is that i have small speakers by the monitor for tweeters but my full sound system on the walls and would like to hear music and youtube on both. and they are on different lines so i need programs to use both

Is there not a setting that just makes all audio play thru 7.1?

a couple splitters will get you 6.0, I've never used anything past 5.1

That's probably a problem with your setup then, how's it all hooked up?
