Window Mod caused side panel issues

I did a window mod on my Corsair 400r and when I tried to close the side, it was very hard to put on and screw the thumbscrews on. I know that this likely happened because the glass is in the way of something but I was wondering if anyone has suggestions on how to fix it. Thanks is advance! 

 

EDIT: It also causes there to be an opening along the top of the panel.

Yeah it looks like your plexi is hitting the lip on the chassis as it's to large mate, I'ld try shave some off the edges and see if you can't get it in then :D

Would sanding it down with a Demel work?

Yeah I would probly take a bit off with a dremel and then polish up the edges with a light sanding, Make sure to measure how far in that lip actually goes in from each edge of the chassis to make sure you take off enough too.

 

Measure twice, cut once :)
