Hey guys 'n' gals.

Basically my friend is getting a gaming PC but has a budget of £450. Now I know you kind folk would love to help his cause by providing me with builds of around this price. He is starting from scratch so a full build is required. The main games he wants to play are as follows: CS: GO, H1Z1, Indie Games, GTA 5 etc.

If any steam machines match this requirement then they are also accepted.

I look forward to viewing your ideas.

Thanks :D

If he has an extra 80 euros, he can do this skylake build:

CPU: Intel Core i5-6600 3.3GHz Quad-Core Processor  (£188.59 @ Kustom PCs)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H170M-D3H Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard  (£76.32 @ Aria PC)
Video Card: XFX Radeon R9 380 2GB Double Dissipation Video Card  (£144.99 @ Ebuyer)
Case: Xigmatek Recon ATX Mid Tower Case  (£22.78 @ CCL Computers)
Power Supply: XFX TS 550W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply  (£37.99 @ Amazon UK)
Total: £535.02

Would net him a much better platform, and a solid CPU to build around. If his budget is strictly 450 euros, then try this:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor  (£140.64 @ CCL Computers)
Motherboard: ASRock B85M-PRO3 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  (£46.62 @ Scan.co.uk)
Memory: Crucial 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory  (£29.99 @ Aria PC)
Video Card: XFX Radeon R9 380 2GB Double Dissipation Video Card  (£144.99 @ Ebuyer)
Case: Xigmatek Recon ATX Mid Tower Case  (£22.78 @ CCL Computers)
Power Supply: XFX TS 550W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply  (£37.99 @ Amazon UK)
Total: £449.00
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available
