I know this brand,my friend is using that brand and it is very good.No problems with it,but the question was will it work?

technically yes

but its one of those brands that you don't know if its going to explode your PC or not

Ok maybe he is not really my friend,but I know him. He is pc technician and he build gaming pcs for people with these PSUs,so no worries and no complaints

If he's a PC tech then sure. why not. just blame him if your psu explodes ;)

Just because your friends has a product from a particular brand doesn't mean the quality of a different product from them will be the same. Like most companies, they have a wide range of products of differing qualities.

 

Anyways...

 

Chieftec GPS-700A8 = CWT GPM

CWT GPM = Corsair VS, Thermaltake Smart SE, and Cooler Master B v2

 

...while it isn't exactly what I would recommend, it is capable of powering your system. Afterall, a good quality 450w PSU can power that system like the Seasonic Eco / S12II Bronze.  Personally, I would go for for an indy regulated unit like the Cooler Master GM or Fractal Design Integra M, for example.

 

A Chieftec alternative would be the CTG-550C, as it is based on a better platform from High Power (B14C platform - same as the Rosewill Hive first revision and OCZ ZS).
