If you had a contractor, they should know where to get it. Just gotta make sure it's the right one. I did the same with my contractor as well.

My brother-in-law is the contractorAnd he has never had to lay this much cable. Usually he would just get 100 foot cable for shorter distances.

Ah well I'm not sure as to where you can order them as my contractor handled everything for me. I just made sure the contractor got me cat 6 cable.

I used that stuff for my house, and its a pretty nice cable with a heavy jacket. It is shielded per pair, so it kinda sucks to terminate... but 10 years from now I won't feel like tearing my walls apart just to run better cable so it was worth it.

 

This is solid wire cable, so it is not to be used as a patch cable, this is for punching down to panels and keystones. The wires actually won't even fit into most RJ45 plugs.

 

Cat7 isn't even a TIA standard, so I would go with Cat6a.
