Looking for a good microphone

I've been looking into getting a good microphone and headphones, or a headset combo. Any thoughts or recommendations on what might be good to pickup?

As a microphone I can suggest you the Samson Meteor (I have it), it's not insanely expensive and it provides great audio/voice recording IMO.

Or, if you want some more quality, you can pick up the Blue Yeti.

The Rode NT-USB is definitely a solid choice and I'm getting one soon. Linus even reviewed it here: 

Even comes with a pop filter :)

I don't like 2D games...I just couldn't get into them.. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
