Yeah, this "Fair for Canada" thing is complete BS. I'm excited for Verizon coming in and making prices lower. More competition would be awesome.

Also, Buckley is awesome!

Ouch, those current prices seem almost unreal. Hope you guys over in Canada can get some serious change in pricing if Verizon happens to get in.

As a reference, I pay ~$4 (29SEK) for 100/10 (no limits there), 29 TV Channels and unlimited calls (VoIP) within Sweden...

Cheers,

Linus

That's amazing, it costs 80$+ for those kinds of speeds in america, even more reasons why i'm going to move to sweden. :P

Haha yeah, these kinds of things are often included in apartments' rents (without actually adding the cost of the services), so it's basically just an added administrative fee. So I guess it's not quite a fair comparison.

Cheers,

Linus

Went to see for the HTC One (have a 3GS) and they said I can keep the same contract except that they lower the internet limit (500 to 150 mb -_-) and the price is the same whixch amounts 57$ a month with god damn taxes

Cant honnestly wait for Verizon to come

They have absolutely no shame to treat us like idiots and that just annoys me

We need someone more like Google (my example is Fiber) but with a cellphone network

We could use it for our other services as well (Internet, cable, satellite) ~$120 for unlimited(fair use) cable internet at 14 down 2 up (that's with the $50 max overage charge on data above 125GB provided by Cogeco)
