Hi people!

I'm changing cases and I want to sell the old one but it has the boutique brand on it. Any idea how to remove it without damaging the case?

I'm already planing to sell it really cheap, cause its rusting like crazy as you can see in the pic.

Thanks for the attention.

It's probably just held on by adhesive so using a heatgun or hair dryer to warm it out will make it easy to pry it off.

As said ,a heatgun or hairdryer should do the trick. Also, are you sure that's rust and not dust?

You might be able to find a 3.5'' bay cover for that case somewhere.

If you have to remove the thing, however, if you have a heat gun (or if you're kinda ghettoing it a bit, a hair dryer with the heat setting turned up a bit), you can use it to soften the adhesive, making it easier for you to peel it off. If it doesn't work, well...refer to the first sentence.

It's a little hard to tell, but if you look at the 'A', you can see a little bit of corrosion, or at least colour that would lead to the conclusion that corrosion is occuring.

How did you get a case to rust?

Anyway, a heatgun is probably the best option

How did you get a case to rust?

I live 300m from the sea in a very windy city, so the sea spray is really strong around here.
