I want to build a new PC that can not only handle all the games I currently play but also allows me to get into content creation, Photoshop,Premier and After Effects.

This is the current configuration I have in my head, it might be a bit OP but if you have alternatives I am looking forward to read them.

CPU: Intel Core i7-5960X Extreme Edition
Motherboard: ASUS X99-Deluxe/U3.1

Memory: Kingston HyperX Predator DIMM Kit 32GB, DDR4-3000
Storage: Intel SSD 750 Series 1.2TB, PCIe 3.0 x4

Video Card: ASUS GTXTITANX-12GD5, GeForce GTX Titan X
Case: Corsair Graphite Series 780T

Operating System: Windows 10 Enterprise

The Budget is around 8000€

Thanks

get a backup ssd for a boot drive. Motherboard support for PCIE SSD booting is still a little sketchy.

Well for one just go with 980Tis in SLI. That'll save you a bit of money.

Don't waste money on that SSD. It's truly not needed. Get a Samsung 850Evo or 850Pro. If you wanna record videos and such look into a mass storage HDD like 2-4TBs.

So like 2-4TB WD Black or maybe purple? WD purples are built for constant usage and I think they'd make sense if you're constantly recording and putting videos on it.

1TB 850evo or Pro for games and your regular used programs.

If you just wanna "get" into it look into a i7-5820k because dont throw money at something you may not even like. A 5820k is more then capable of doing such task.

i7-6700k  Cooling: Deepcool Captain 240EX White GPU: GTX 1080Ti EVGA FTW3 Mobo: AsRock Z170 Extreme4 Case: Phanteks P400s TG Special Black/White PSU: EVGA 850w GQ Ram: 64GB (3200Mhz 16x4 Corsair Vengeance RGB) Storage 1x 1TB Seagate Barracuda 240GBSandisk SSDPlus, 480GB OCZ Trion 150, 1TB Crucial NVMe
(Rest of Specs on Profile)

Jesus Christ 8000 euros?

Are you going to OC?

Yes, for cooling I will probably go with a Corsair Hydro Series H110i GTX

get a backup ssd for a boot drive. Motherboard support for PCIE SSD booting is still a little sketchy.

I will keep that in mind, right now I have ASUS G751JY with a Samsung SSD SM951 512GB, M.2 and it works fine

8K... *Mind Blown*

Indeed but after 7 years of being unemployed this year I can do what I want

PS: Just ordered 4 WD RED PRO 6TB Drives for my Files Server 1250€

The 5820K is definitely an option, when it comes to Pro Applications like After Effects would two cards in SLI create an negative effect on it?

Two cards in SLI aren't unstable. The 980Tis will be a bit more for SLI( not to much ) and offer much more, performance since on alone performs similar to a Titan X

That is a build very nice, to answer your question my PC room has been build to use a single 40" TV as monitor, so I can't really use anything else I am probably going to get a 40" Samsung 4K TV with low input lag as a new monitor.

i misread and thought you were in the UK. you should still get x2 xeons

edit:

where do you live anyway?

The good old Austria.

edit:

I mean I could run two Xeons for editing but there is the risk that I might not continue with content creation and €2.3K per CPU might not the the optimal way for me.
