Upgrade?

I don't know what I need to upgrade my PC with.

Here are my specs:

AMD x4 645 3.1ghz quad core

Dell 4gjjt motherboard (AM3)

6 Gbs of ram

EVGA GTX 750ti

WD Blue 1tb

Dell Inspiron Case (image)

460watt psu

depends on what you are doing. for office it's fine

guessing that you are gaming you should make a whole new build

i'd like to add that in a lot of cases dell has custom power supply connectors, so upgrading PSU and mobo is tied together.

 

EDIT: this one is old enough to fall out of that boat.

 

that said, its not because it's a brandless PSU that its a bad one, i've had some good luck with some of the prebuilt's power supplies.

(the only one that i've had die out of a fair bunch was one from a brand thats known to be absolute shyte)

I'm note really sure what he would be able to upgrade on that. obviously the best upgrade to get performance (after getting a better PSU) would be getting a new GPU but it probably would not fit in a pre built PC.

What are you expecting to do with this computer? If it's hardcore gaming or video editing, then a whole platform (Motherboard and CPU) upgrade would be necessary. If it's mainstream use or casual gaming, the current set up is good enough.
