I wish i had fond memories to tell of this thing but honestly it was nothing but a pain in the butt, so here you go, a look at the god awful board ive had to put up with for a year while i was job hunting.

And my not so crappy cooler, with brand new fans (why did i even bother buying and installing those if i was ripping this thing apart soon anyways? )









And now back to pulling the rest of the junk out of this old case in prep for my new phantom 410, and msi 990fxa gaming board.

Nope, not unless someone finds me a decent shiny red one i wont be. Current one has done just fine, so i wont be upgrading it just because i can. New one needs to match my new build better for me to bother, im only running a single 760 afterall its not a big deal to use the cx line. If i grab the 390x from msi i want then yes id get something a tad safer and higher end.

out of curiosity, what kind of mobo, and what kind of problems?

That mobo you are cursing was actually a solid choice back when AM3 was competitive to intel.

CX series PSUs are only rated for 30C.

 

So. Yeah. If your ambient + system temp doesn't get above that, then fine.
